With a little more breeze than forecast I decided to have a trip down the coast to the Orwell river mouth.The beat down was okay but after safely crossing the main channel the Haven harbour master told me you were not allowed to windsurf in the channel which was news to me as I have been doing it on and off for 25 years !!!!!! and I always aim to cross as quickly as possible(this time I waited on the beach to let a huge container ship past),he then escorted me back. The reach back was hard work as the wind dropped and the sea was choppy!!!!
but at least the sun came out.So that was 2hrs 41min and 42 sec on the water with an average speed of 5.8 kts - I have had better sessions !!!!
